RALEIGH WOMENS LONG INSULATED JACKET – KHAKI
Wearing their Raleigh padded puffer coat—which features wide, chevron panels—will keep you warm and cosy on windy, chilly days in Yorkshire. It is filled with high-performance thermal material derived from recycled plastic bottles and is extremely windproof. This Raleigh parka is so long, has an attached hood with thick drawcords, and elasticized cuffs that it’s like a sleeping bag when you go outside.
Despite its roomy cut, it’s a pain to put on and take off because of the full-length, two-way zipper that’s hidden beneath a press-stud fastening strip. Two bottom zipper pockets in this exceptionally warm coat can be used as alternative hand warmers in the event that you do not have your gloves on. The sleeve’s imprinted rubber Yorkshire Rose emblem provides the last touch.
ALDERIDGE WOMENS WATERPROOF PARKA – FADED PINK
Their classic and figure-flattering Alderidge winter parka coat is entirely breathable, waterproof, and windproof without sacrificing warmth. Durable and weatherproof, the outer layer features a matt, smooth texture that mimics the look of casual cotton twill and is coated with an additional water repellent to keep rain and snow at bay. With its insulating filling and smooth taffeta lining, this coat will keep you warm and cozy. To keep the cold out of your ears and neck, this cozy hood has a Velcro adjuster and detachable, luxuriously plush faux fur trim.
Adjustable drawcords let you cinch your waist, and rounded seams provide a sleek, attractive appearance; these are just a few examples of the attention to detail that their designers in Yorkshire have paid to the garment’s design. You can easily access air when necessary and stretch your legs while seated thanks to the full-length zip that is neatly fastened with press studs and Velcro. It opens at both ends. Wear it as a daily commuting shoe or take it for a mooring stroll.
DRAX WOMENS FUNNEL DOWN JACKET – MINT BLUE
Their Drax down filled women’s jacket is the ideal lightweight layering piece since it is fluffy, silky smooth to the touch, and compacts into a little pocket that you can access through the zipper. It doubles as a comfortable travel pillow and won’t take up much space in your bag when you’re on the road. The naturally insulating duck down provides tremendous warmth without adding bulk to this padded jacket. With features like a supple chin cover at the top of the zipper and sleek paneling that create a figure-flattering fitted silhouette, this top is as comfortable as it is stylish.
Drax is built to compress down to a tiny size and then reshape itself. It features large side pockets that are covered by an elastic flap, cuffs that are lightly elasticated, and little toggle adjusters at the hem to keep the cold out. Their Drax women’s jacket was designed in Yorkshire, where layering is essential, and is perfect for wearing under a coat on windy days or over a top when the temperature is just slightly cooler. JANINE WOMENS STRIPED CREW NECK JUMPER – FADED PINK
The Janine women’s crew neck jumper from TOG24 stands out from the crowd thanks to its graphic stripes that are bold and colorful on a background color that is muted. The sweater that Janine is wearing is knitted in a highly soft wool blend that is quite comfortable against the skin. Additionally, the sweater has a ribbed structure that runs vertically through it, which gives it the appearance of being thick and bulky without being overly heavy.
The wool blend has a little bit of elasticity, and there are raglan sleeves for a comfortable and relaxed style. Their team in West Yorkshire took the time to design this garment so that it would fit in all the right places. Their characteristic little woven TOG24 label is added to the side seam of this eye-catching sweater, which puts the finishing touch on the garment.
SPLASH WOMENS WELLIES – WASHED BLUE DALMATION
Their Splash wellington boots are ideal for wet and cold weather thanks to their 100% natural rubber outsole and absorbent fabric interior. When walking on damp, muddy, or otherwise hazardous terrain, chunky, slip-resistant soles provide more traction and stability. So that the wellies don’t feel loose or unpleasant, a layer of comfort and support is added by a soft, cushioned insole. Each boot has an adjustable buckle at the back so you can get the perfect fit for your calf, preventing blisters, rubbing, and water damage.
This pair of wellington boots has a matte finish and is both fashionable and practical; the patterns and colors are a reflection of the rough Yorkshire terrain. With a subtle TOG24 rubber badge on the front, they provide that extra detail, in keeping with their ‘Truth over Glory’ attitude. These utilitarian boots, the Splash, are ideal in all weather, whether you’re taking your dog for a wet walk or attending a summer event when a downpour is always a possibility.
About Tog24
In the year 1958, Donald Ward came up with the idea for TOG24 in West Yorkshire. Prior to venturing out on his own in the late 1950s, “Big D” had worked his way up through the ranks of the prosperous textile industry that surrounded Dewsbury. He had begun his career as an apprentice millwright, fixing looms.
This Heckmondwike-based company has come a long way since its humble origins as a shoemaker but has since expanded significantly. The brand is now well-known for its waterproofs and fleeces, and it was first introduced in the 1970s with the launch of sports bags and football outfits. As a result of the growing demand, the line eventually expanded to include both skiwear and casual wear. With a sad heart, they began shipping out their items; yet, they had little choice but to do so if they wanted to continue operating their business and remain competitive. The headquarters, which was the place where all of their garments were produced, is still under their control. It is impossible for them to sell anything that is not in accordance with their motto.
This is the tagline that will be used for the TOG24 presentation. “Truth Over Glory Everyday” The “True” nature, which is inclusive and welcomes everyone, is the focus of their attention, as opposed to the “Glory” nature, which is exclusive and dramatic, such as planting flags on mountains or gliding down sheer ice cliffs. For example, going for a ski with the family or going to a pub with friends are examples of the “True” nature.
In the Spen Valley in Yorkshire, this is the location where TOG24 is manufactured. According to them, marketing language is still not something they believe in, and they want you to feel that the product is worth every penny. Despite the fact that production was stopped in 2010, the Spen Valley is rightly proud of the fact that it is the location where their products were first manufactured.
Beginning at the Heckmondwike factory shop was the beginning of the TOG24 voyage. After achieving success with their first store, which had previously been carpeted in fleece scraps and sold remnants from other companies out of cardboard boxes, they made the decision to stop seeking to sell TOG24 to other businesses and instead embark on the process of establishing their own chain of stores. The original Heckmondwike plant of TOG24 is still operational, despite the fact that the company has expanded significantly and now has over 60 locations across the United Kingdom and Ireland.
