Coldplay Brothers & Sisters 25th Anniversary 7inch

The first “Brothers & Sisters’ release was a two-song 7″ (‘Brothers & Sisters’ and ‘Easy To Please’) and a three-song CD single; this special 25th anniversary version includes the third song, ‘Only Superstition,’ which was not on the original vinyl release but is on the CD. This album gave the new band the chance to set up their style and gain the first group of fans. The three songs that made up the EP only managed to get as high as number 92 in the charts and the recording cost £450.

The fourth song in the EP is ‘The Story of Brothers & Sisters,’ which is also a bonus track, and it helps to create an air of intrigue. The following is an extract from Simon Williams’s audiobook, ‘Pandamonium! How Not To Run A Record Label,’ that was established by Fierce Panda.
