When it comes to conventional style with a coastal flair, the Crew Clothing Company is the go-to British lifestyle brand for men and women alike. In the beginning of any storey, there is a concept or an idea. Quite simply, we wanted to create traditional attire that was inspired by the coastline of the United Kingdom. In Salcombe, with its cobbled alleys, crystal blue water, and incomparable views, Alastair Parker’s menswear collection, which was inspired by his time as a professional skier, found the right setting for his debut collection. In his leisure time, Alistair maintained a thriving windsurfing school in addition to competing in international contests throughout the world. Crew Clothing was founded on the premises.

The rugby shirt from Alistair’s debut collection, which was adorned with our trademark ’93 patch, was one of the products in the collection. He drove it all the way from Salcombe to Cowes Week, and then all the way to the King’s Road in Portsmouth, England. As the saying goes, the rest is history after 79 businesses have closed.

After 25 years, we’ve grown beyond the limitations of a little windsurfing business to become something far more. In recent years, stores have sprung up all throughout the country, from St. Andrews to St. Ives, and even in the suburbs of London. Having said that, we’ve never forgotten where we came from: the shores of the United Kingdom.

LONG SLEEVE CLASSIC FIT FLANNEL CHECK SHIRT

Gingham, stripe, and plain shirts for men in supersoft fabrics in both standard and slim fit styles are available in a variety of colours. All of our men’s shirts are meticulously tailored with attention paid to every detail, from the collar to the cuffs, which makes getting dressed every day a breeze. A flannel shirt with a marl pattern in shades of blue and charcoal. The pocket of this check-patterned jacket is embroidered with our signature crossed oars, which can be worn open with a t-shirt underneath or buttoned up for a more formal approach.

CLASSIC HALF ZIP KNIT JUMPER

You can never have too many supersoft men’s jumpers and knitwear: from traditional cable knits to crew necks, v-necks, half zips, and cashmere blends, there is never a shortage of supersoft knitwear. Stock up on classic pieces that you’ll be able to wear again and again. Our classic half zip knit has been given a modern update in deep sea marl. In addition to being worn as a layer, this multi-functional jumper can also be worn unzipped on its own.

Put it on and get out of the house. Features include a 95 percent cotton, 5 percent cashmere blend, a supersoft hand feel, ribbed collar, cuffs, and bottom hem, and a relaxed fit.
