Salon Eyelash Extensions
Salon eyelash extensions are a type of beauty treatment that involves the application of artificial lashes to the natural lashes. The lashes are usually made from synthetic materials such as mink, silk, or synthetic fibers, and they are available in a variety of colors, lengths, and thicknesses. Salon eyelash extensions can be applied by a professional stylist or esthetician, or they can be purchased in a kit for home use. The process typically takes around two hours, and the results can last for several weeks. Eyelash extensions can give the appearance of longer, thicker lashes, and they can also help to protect the natural lashes from damage.
What to know before getting eyelash extension?
Generally speaking, you can select extensions made from silk, mink (Beyonce wears mink, in case you were wondering), or synthetic mink, depending on your personal preference. All have their advantages and disadvantages, so choosing one is a matter of taste.
If your natural lashes are thin and sparse, you probably won’t be able to achieve BeyoncĂ©’s level of lash drama (sadly). The natural lashes to which the extensions will be affixed have a limited capacity for load bearing; you should avoid putting undue strain on them.
Though they’ll make your eyes pop, you may need to adjust your beauty routine to fit your new lashes. Byrdie advises avoiding several products, including tubing mascaras (which stick to false lashes more than natural lashes), pencil eyeliners (which can tangle the lashes), and oil-based cleansers (the oil can break down the glue).
If you take good care of your lash extensions, they can last up to two months, and after you’ve paid for the full set, you can get touchups (which are cheaper than the initial application) whenever you like.
It’s tempting to skip your usual cleansing routine when wearing extensions because, logically, the less your eyes are washed with soap and water, the longer they’ll last. However, Dr. Daniel Durrie, an ophthalmologist, cautioned CBS viewers against taking sloppy precautions when cleaning: “Unfortunately, most people don’t give their eyes a thorough cleaning because they’re afraid of damaging their eyelashes. This leads to a buildup of potentially infectious materials.” Users were cautioned to use a mild cleanser, such as baby shampoo diluted with water, and to watch out for symptoms of eye infection like redness, swelling, and itching. Caution should be taken when wearing extensions because they have been linked to eye infections such as conjunctivitis and keratitis.
Despite the aforementioned warnings, they are still awesome (and entertaining). As long as you exercise caution, the risks are manageable, and this is a fantastic way to achieve the look of innocence you’ve always desired.

About Primalash:
We stock more than 400 unique lash designs, making us the industry leader.
Having opened our doors in 2013, we have seen it all and learned a thing or two about the false lash business.
We take a unique approach here at PrimaLash. We don’t use paid celebrity endorsements to boost sales of budget items. In contrast, we take pride in our company’s natural expansion. Word of mouth is the primary source of our business’ new customers. This is a core value that we hold dear.
We have a wide selection of products to meet the requirements of any consumer, regardless of their financial situation. In light of this, we offer three distinct collections within our cruelty-free mink assortment: Express, Luxury, and Signature. The younger mink used in our Signature collection is much lighter and softer than the older mink. The hair in cheaper mink lashes is coated and artificially curled with heat, so you can tell the difference between these and cheaper products. In some cases, this can give hair a glossy, jet-black colour.
