While Angus and Ross adored living in Cornwall, they quickly ran out of money and had to put their creative abilities to use. They began printing unique, surf-themed patterns on t-shirts and selling them out of the trunk of their Austin Allegro using a screen they had fashioned from various found objects, along with a handmade blackout system they had constructed from nails, tape, and a rug from the Salvation Army. Saltrock was the name of their new brand, after the South African surf spot that they loved.

Staying steadfastly loyal to their roots, Saltrock continue to make surf-inspired designs in Devon, UK, with a focus on freedom, and they ship them all over the UK.
