What is the uses of wax?
Wax has a variety of uses, both commercial and industrial. One of the most common uses for wax is as a coating or sealant. Wax can be applied to floors, furniture, and other surfaces to create a protective barrier. This barrier helps to resist water damage, scratches, and stains. In addition, wax can also be used as an adhesive. For example, candles are made by combining wax with a wick, which allows the candle to be burned without dripping. Envelopes are often sealed with a strip of wax, and postage stamps are traditionally affixed to paper with a dab of glue and then covered with a thin layer of wax.
In the food industry, wax is used as a polishing agent and can also help to extend the shelf life of fruits and vegetables by creating a barrier against moisture and bacteria. Finally, in the arts and crafts world, wax is often used as a modeling material or for making candles. As you can see, there are many uses for wax in our everyday lives.
